CORE Implant Training Program

Program Overview

This course is the 3rd part of the CORE Implant Training Program which is designed for either the general dentist or specialist  who has no prior experience in Oral Implantology or who has already started the journey but would like to increase their skill and knowledge. Our graduates have proven track records of successfully implementing implant dentistry into their practice. All CORE programs have didactic, hands-on models, and home study components.

The CORE program will provide the participants with the abilities to recognize, treatment plan and preform essential implant treatment comfortably. The clinicians will become knowledgeable in the essential aspects of implant prosthetics. Furthermore, basic surgical aspects of implant dentistry and bone grafting will be addressed.

This course is designed to provide dentists with the necessary knowledge and skills to properly extract teeth atraumatically, and then provide general bone grafting procedures. Emphasis is placed on comprehensive knowledge of both the scientific theory and practical procedures for preserving bone during extractions, as well as understanding how to treat each specific socket with various bone grafting techniques. Equipment, materials and techniques used for these purposes will be discussed. The other main focus of the course is for doctors to become knowledgeable and proficient general ridge augmentation bone grafting as well as socket bone grafting which will allow the participants to treat the majority of simple cases without additional training. Discussion of various grafting materials (Membranes, Graft Materials, Biologics, etc.) will be emphasized.

CORE 3 Covers:

  • Atraumatic Extraction Principles
  • Proper Instruments for Treatment
  • Bone Biology & Socket Healing Principles
  • Mechanical Extraction Systems

  • Membrane Materials & Principles
  • Understanding which Techniques to Use When
